So anyway I am excited to tell people that I just picked up a Guerra Castor over at Sids-clothing.com it was $134 dollars off and is pure beaver, joy! I have also been fancying a Stetson Danbury but Sids does not say how tall the crown is, and I note that when another member asked if anyone knew how tall the crown was he did not get an answer. However, I love beaver, and am excited for my Guerra Castor, just thought I would share. Photos will follow when it arrives

Janyška & Cie. "Praga" possible late 1930s early 1940s. This sporty Homburg is from my 2016 NOS Czech find.

Not a Austrian company but grew out of that tradition. Janyška was started in the 1920s in Valašské Meziříčí – Krásno about 25 km from Nový Jičín. By the way this is the company that produced the early 1940s film on old methods of felt and hat making.
