Today the clouds chased each other throughout the morning threatening rain. Corteccia Borsalino 2.jpg
In the early afternoon they continued their dance with some rays of sunshine.
Corteccia Borsalino 4.jpg
We took the opportunity to go and see the riot of green foliage.

The hat is a size 6 or 59 cm. Borsalino Qualità Extra Superiore found in the M. Hutter field in Merano a few years ago. The color is Corteccia (Bark) and the felt is soft and malleable with a felt finish with a visible pile.

The finishes are excellent, see the stitching along the edge of the brims and the unusual sweatband, at least in the Borsalino styles.
Have a great day everyone and congratulations on the never-ending hat parade

Very nice! I especially like the ribbon treatment.

Received my custom Optimo Montecristi with a beautiful chocolate brown brim edge.

Graham and Tiffani and the craftspeople do excellent work, not only on the hats but with their customers.

They make high quality hats, true, but also employ workers, have a physical as well as online presence, and answer phones and emails. They are good for the craft and the city.

I always feel good in their hats for a number of reasons.

Classic teenager tactic—make your dad laugh so he looks like an idiot and then keep taking pictures. I wore this OR 25 for our trip out west to visit the in-laws and have really bonded with it over the last week—absolutely my favorite OR now, super comfortable and one of my few brim up hats.

Cheers, David

That wouldn’t surprise me, I think most of Berlin-Mitte was flattened. Here is a wiki article for the Berlin W.8 post office. It’s only in German but it does have a few sentences about the destruction and rebuilding efforts. I wish I could find more definitive information about Berlin W online.

Here you go (sorry, just in German, too):
