Your cleanup looks like a huge improvement to me!Some really nice, clean hats lately!
Let’s fix that.
Today’s installment of Bob’s Beater Hats (TM) is a 1940s or early 1950s Royal Stetson DeLuxe Flagship after the first of what may be many attempts to clean it.
The non-Petersham ribbon version with an under-welt brim.
It may look rough, but at 7-1/2 LO I’ll take what I can get.

Thank you. It’s a beautyI really like Hornskov hats. This one was called 'the Henchman'. I don't know if he still shows this on his website. It was a 50/50 blend beaver/hare, i think this blend is softer and better then his 100% beaver, in the colour stone. It fits like a glove and i am happy to have this one in my collection.
I, too, am still a fan of his, David. Darn near got into fisticuffs when a young fellow I worked with tried to convince me it was pronounced “Bē-der-bek,” not “Bī-der-bek.”Oh wow—that came a long way! It’s a beautiful hat. I was in Davenport once for the Bix Beiderbecke festival. Cool old town.
Funny. You’d enjoy going to the fest—in addition to the music you can see a lot of amazing locations associated with Bix. they have bands playing in many surviving venues where Bix played, you can see his house and grave.Thank you. It’s a beauty

That looks great on you, Brent!
Great job, Jim. Came very close to grabbing a GP today as well. Finally cleaned this Gay Prince I won about a month ago. It had some persistent grime at the front pinch. Still not perfect.
