Thanks Greg -- I'll pass along any successes. I've been using naratriptans and sumatriptans with some success for years. One of the new drugs I'll be trying is a once-a-month self-injection for prevention. Not sure which one yet -- waiting to see which one my insurance covers.

And I agree on the women being tougher.
Hope whichever one you get to choose works for you Bob.

Greetings All:
Today….Churchill Beaver “50”.
Still a favorite that rivals some of Stetson’s best. It’s big brother, Vicuna “100”, really has nothing on this except the suitcase..
Be well

My wife has been using a once-a-month injection that has helped a lot but not completely. Good luck—at least your head will look good with that beautiful Playboy. ;-)

I knew that the deep red would look great and it sure does!
Headache specialist Bob? I used to get excruciating headaches, so bad that they made me vomit. A new doctor in the practice that we went to back then, suggested migraine, she was right. She gave me the number of the migraine sufferers association. There I discovered that migraine can be triggered by certain foods, not for every sufferer, but it is a known cause. Omitting certain foods was life changing. I owe much to that doctor. I do hope that you get help with your headaches.

"Wear your new hat for me," Tina suggested this morning as I was getting the car keys to go on an errand for her, "go on," she coaxed, "it will suit that shirt." So I put my new hat on, actually it fits so well that I forgot all about red hats. My barber even commented that I have a new hat when I stopped by to make an appointment for later in the week.

Thanks Robert. I’ve had migraines since I was 19. I had reached a dead-end 15 years ago with treatments that were available to me so decided it was time to see what was new.

BTW — you have no reason to fear the red hat. You wear it well!
Thank you Bob, the hat is growing on me. Not wishing to hijack this thread, when I suffered migraine it was pre-internet, the medical knowledge gained was from the study of migraine sufferers. My own headaches were triggered by certain foods because my body lacks the enzymes that break down food during digestion. You may have a different trigger that sets your's off. Wow—as classic as it gets my friend.
Absolutely. There are so many Strats on this thread, it's such a beauty of a hat and Joe nails it, perfectly.
Some time back we had a Lounger name of Esther Weis, a milliner from Belgium. She made me a hat that she dubbed: Strat-a-like, it fits a treat, like Joe's it's powder blue, but it doesn't have the aircraft emblem on the hatband. No problem:

When I'm out and about in our vintage MG, seen here with Tina, my Strat-a-like takes on a new identity.

Tina loves it when I wear the hat and just as a special treat, she bought me these cuff links when I told her what the original emblem was and why it's known as The Stratoliner.

Dang, Joe. An early light blue Vita-Strat?
You make me glad all this isn’t a competition, since I’d be losing. Badly.
:)
Certainly no competition.. just enjoying cool old hats. Your collection is no slouch either ;)
Someday I will find a vintage Strat. This one is beautiful!
Thank you Simeon. Your San Antonio is looking great.

Thank you Robert…. Btw the original Stratoliner airplane pin came courtesy of Eric @Short Balding Guy and added that perfect final touch. I love how you have yours accessorized
