This one is probably my very first conversion from several years ago. It started out as a too small Resistol Stagecoach in Chestnut with a 3 1/2 inch brim width. I converted this one to a "Brushed Finish" fedora. It sports a tall vertical crown that's creased to a deep tear drop. I sewed on a 6 ply dark brown mid ribbon with a simple keeper. The snap brim is 2 5/8.

Yesterday I worked under an Akubra CD during some more snow clean-up.

I took off my hat to grab a pic to share and realized my hat is camoflaged.

The morning snow blowing and shoveling I did in a cap. I worked up a sweat over the 1.5 hours of effort. I went in to change outside clothes and put my cap on a block to dry out.

This morning after snow clean-up I jaunted about in snow shoes cutting a trail. I was under the brim of a Gannon Wanderer (whiskey beaver felt with charcoal trimmings).

Good morning. My morning walkabout was taken with snowshoes. Afterwards I filled the bird feeders. I took my hat off to share a pic and low and behold I discovered my wonky hat brim and crease. My walkabout found me ducking under some limbs and hitting a few. I did not notice my "modified" hat until I took it off.

A quick center dent and side creases my Stetson 3X OR was back in business.

My morning coffee was enjoyed under the brim of a Warren fedora.

Waiting for a meeting to start. Late 50's Stetson 7X Clear beaver, 3 1/4 inch raw brim. Originally had a center-fire creased crown and the side brims were turned up like wings wanting to flap. Just steamed it into this shape today.
