Pre-Stingymas day five.
Following yesterday’s bowler with another one that came to me from Stefan. This jet black Tirard Ragondia (nutria) has a deceptively small 5cm brim.
I planned to get a decent photo when I got home from work. Unfortunately, I forgot, so the photos were taken after I got changed into my home wear.

Thank you all for your likes.
Today it's the turn of a hat made in the Sixties or Seventies like the others shown these days
Nocciola B.jpg

They are the children of Italian hat making in great peril due to the decreasing quantities of pieces sold and above all by a decline in popularity among the new generations
Nocciola A2.jpg
Borsalino, like Barbisio, Panizza and others tried in every way to attract the attention of buyers.
They did it by "renewing" the models.
Nocciola interno.jpg
Modern G.B. Borsalino fu Lazzaro size 6 or 7 3/8 USA or 59 centimeters in EU
Nocciola etichetta carta.jpg
The color of the felt is "Nocciola - Hazelnut" with a slight variation of the ribbon which is slightly less yellow
Nocciola B 1.jpg
Exquisitely finished with plum-red lining it was a high class hat. The price in Italian Lire 176,000 proves it.
Nocciola 1.jpg
Like others of this series it has come down to the present day without being worn
A nice Monday for everyone

Of course! That is what you get for living way up north. A bunch of sensible Vikings made it all the way south to the Mediterranean.
Stop rubbing it in, Max :)
We like it that way; that's why all the northern countries are filled with happy people!

I’m a sucker for the felted edge so the Cavanagh wins by a nose. The ribbon work on the Tirard Grand Raid is something else too! Love it.
Thanks, Brent. That ribbon is very different indeed.

I'm with Brent on the Tirard, Stefan @steur

Love it too, and it's my pick by a longish nose :)
Thank you, Steve.

Entertaining game that was more open than I thought it would be. Clinical finishing was the difference between the squads. Congrats!

And in honor of the Netherlands advancing, a Staalmeester from and for Stefan:

Thanks, Jonathan. Looking at their other games I thought team USA would do better than they did against the Dutch to be honest. The defense didn't look good but there it is. The Staalmeester does look good with a nice bit of sunshine.

You haven't changed a bit, Max. You only have more hats to wear!

Looks as good as the bowler, gary. I really like how black it is; absorbs light.
Beautiful hat, Perry. Great shape and colour.
