Today I wore one of my Ecuadorian Panama Hat Co. Panamas from the 50s for my yearly eye exam. This hat is a bit more yellowed than the other. But I thought it went better with the shirt.

Charcoal stingy Biltmore Royal today. My first hat bought new in the early 90's. Recently had a shop take it in for a reblocking, new sweat and new ribbon. They absolutely butchered it, and that spurred me on to learning how to do it myself so that I could make it wearable again.
It's not all the way there, but at least it's wearable again. Not gonna be able to get it much better until I can get my hands on a hat block to straighten the sides of the crown and soften the severe taper they put in.
