I know I said I'll keep the velours out, but with so many great ones shown recently, I thought I should join the party! It needs to be black though:

More on the way...the European hat carousel is very HOT at the moment ;)

Does that count for the black-series and buy me the entrance to the velour show?

That will get you into any show you want, Panos. Splendid hat!

They could certainly give Borsalino a run for their money and their variety is mindboggling. Very nice, Steve (even if it is green:)).

I'd say that's a keeper. Lovely hat.

Great pic, Matt. Outstanding outfits for both of you.

If this is a hat heist in the making: I'm in!

Thanks Stefan :)

I think it is. The original Fu Lazzaro is very hard to find. I think Borsalino had two versions of some models on the market, one under the regular Borsalino brand name and one under the Borsalino fu Lazzaro brand name. I think the Savoy is another example of this. I've only seen this liner in their Canadian licensed hats (note the "di" instead of "fu"). View attachment 382818 View attachment 382819

Quite possible as it was originally sold in a store in Cincinnati, OH. This one however uses the FU not di on both the sweat and liner. And the sweat indicates “Made in Italy”

The liner does not have plastic tip and is slightly different not having the “created in Italy” notation

Wonderful all, Stefan. So glad to see you joining the Green Hat Club with that Barbisio. Looks a beauty, and oh my, what gills!

Looks wonderful on you, Panos. Makes up for it not being my size.
You're definitely in the velour show from now on in :)

Even Stefan can overlook a hat being green when it comes to fine gills.
