Wonderful photos, Alan. Then again, who could take them better?
Thank you Steve… hope all is well with you.

AwesomeAlways hard to capture the true colour of these dark blue felts, especially in November. Believe me though, it is blue. Ask Stefan
The great 'noir' vibe from your photo makes up for it, GaryMy vintage Stylemaster earlier in the day, but I forgot to get photos. Indian food for dinner in my Brummel’s homburg.

Sorry, Stefan @steur, I forgot to get food pictures, too. But I am enjoying the Homburg.
Glad to see the hat made it in the end (not all of them do). Would have been a shame if such a fine hat had been lost. The bow is incredible.Echter Rockel Velour possibly later 1920s. This hat arrived over the Summer after being sent by mistake to China.
Beautiful hat, Panos. I'm really enjoying this series. The bow and the windcord bring just that bit of extra to this hat.Next in the black pre-war series, another European.
French again but in long hair finish this time. Unknown maker but similar size tag Fletchet used View attachment 381500
Wool or wool mixture, so not real velour nice sheen, though quite rough hand. Double bow, old style wind-cord View attachment 381501

Gasp! You have some catching up to do, Brent! Not to everyone's taste (thank goodness), but Tom Waits is more than worth checking out. I've been a fan for a long time. They are obviously buying it for the celebrity connection because that is not a very nice hat. I’ll also confess that I don’t have any idea who Tom Waits is.
Beautiful!Astor Hats of Distinction

Happy Thanksgiving
That is just magnificent, Dave.
All of this weeks' hats have been outstanding, Eric. I really like the look of that Knox.Good morning folks.
The morning dog soiree hat was a Gannon Wanderer (silverbelly beaver felt with charcoal trimming).
After getting home I took a cup of coffee on a walkabout. A Knox Twenty kept my head warm and styl'n.
Cheers, Eric -
Would love to find me another one like that, Steve. In my size that is. Such a great colour (very blue indeed @Blare) and wonderful felt.Scott & Co beaver blend in a colour they call
St. James Blue.
Have a blessed weekend, folks. View attachment 382283

Thank you StefanLove the Knox homburg, Joe.
A special hat for and from a special guyBarbisio Qualitá Extra. The third of the three hats I bought from Daniele recently. I fell for this one as soon as I saw Daniele's photos of it. Elegant style, bold colour, wonderful hand to the felt, simple but eye-catching ribbon and bow treatment, and quality finishes.
Barbisio at their best.

*edit: I love also the heringbone overcoat and those lapels... Matt we should talk
Excellent choice Steve, congrats!
Wow, that's a great idea! I think we should make it Italian too, and maybe visit the fantastic rare-hats museum there (while getting some sun): rumours has it there is no guardThanks Panos.
We need to talk to Matt about the scarf and tie, too. Perhaps we should hold a Danish, Norwegian, Dutch, and German conference on hats, coats, scarves, ties, jackets, and suits sometime in the new year
