When you go big you really go big! Love the look and jealous you can keep the brim that flat.
wear it in good health

Knox Premier. This is the only hat I consistently wear brim up. Just love the profile it creates that, to me, looks kind of 1920s, even though the hat is definitely post-war. Maybe for that reason I think of it as my old man hat—the one I’ll be wearing to feed the pigeons in the park in a few years. ;)

That's a very nice hat; however, Playboys don't normally have a bound brim. A Playboy with a bound brim is usually called a Wanderer. I'm interested in if this hat has Playboy markings.

Here comes the sun
Stevens Antracite F.jpg

It was the last ray in the alley between one house and another, before disappearing

Today an English hat: H.D. Stevens - Gordon Street - London, this says the inner lining, the paper label is in Italian and looks a lot like that of the Cervo hat factory a few years ago.

Apart from this little trick the hat is very nice, the felt is great and the contrast between the ribbon and the hem of the wings, with the felt, is very interesting

The garden today was beautiful, it was grey and in a while the last sun , shining on some corners

Thanks for the likes and have a nice day

Ah, ok. This makes sense! I was questioning this myself. The listing said playboy so I ran with it- there are no playboy markings. The only playboy in that pic would be I. It is a Royal deluxe.
Thank you for clarifying as well as the compliment !

Good call on that Jim…. GREAT looking hat none the less.

I’d also like to see the inside though. Getting more 50s vibe than 60s.
