Haha, thanks Randall. This hat got completely destroyed in a storm once. Reed popped, liner demolished, sweat disintegrated and it stretched out like a mofo. Thankfully Art Fawcett was willing and able to resurrect it. I do baby my hats a bit, but they see whatever weather comes.

Here is an old yeddo boater that I purchased many years ago. It was too inexpensive to pass up though I couldn't wear it... until I slowly coaxed it up two sizes. Not in perfect condition, but very light and comfortable with a lovely textured silk liner.

Very interesting. I’ve never seen a Biltmore like yours.

In the future, it would be great if you selected full-sizes images. Also, if you crop the photos even the slightest amount on any side the photos will show up right-side-up. Just the peculiarities of the site. Keep posting…7 1/8…lucky!
