LOL. Must have let a bit of Blare slip out on that one. Thanks RandallIn the last photo you look like Clint when he told that young bounty hunter:
“Dyin’ ain’t much of a livin’, boy.”
Nice old hat, mean eyed Joe!

That Sovereign looks good on you ReggieI have been wearing this old standby for the past few days. Comfortable, durable, and fits like glove. The perfect beater.

The Sovereign Quality Stetson Temple in Mink. This mink is a darker shade than the newer Royal De Luxe color.

Happy belated Thanksgiving and have a great weekend.
Thanks Stefan. It's one of my favorites for style if not for condition.Looks like good fun even if it has to under different and difficult circumstances. Just don't let anyone know that it was the Austrians that made that fine hat.
Thanks, Michael.
I really like the colours on that one and the double stitched brim binding.
Thanks Dave. You've been sporting some mighty fine hats lately.Awesome!
Thank you buddy! Can't wait to see it, T. I always enjoy seeing your creations.

Thanks Dave. Yes I believe Roelofs merged with Guyer around 1917. Henry Roelofs was married to the daughter of John Stetson and if I’m not mistaken they lived next door to each other. That however is the limit of the hat connection between Roelofs and Stetsonwould appear Henry H. Roelofs and Co. was in business from at least the 1890s until 1914
, becoming just Roelofs Hats around 1917, Guyer-Roelof @ 1920 and back to Roelof in the 1930s.
