I like that crease on the brim. Think you did something similar with your Bushman. With the overhead side shot, I can kind of see better how you did it. So basically, slight curl up on the sides and then you're pinching down the middle front, what a couple fingers? Just to flat or you have it angled down more?

That sounds about right. I steam the brim and then hold it in place while it sets. The curve up on the sides is just the natural flange of the brim without snapping the front down. This VS is softer and the shape is slightly different from the Bushman. The felt sort of tells you what it wants.

I know I've shown this hat a few times already but hey, it's one of my favorites. I made the mistake of laying down on the couch after dinner. Started to doze off but I stopped myself, shot up, threw on my woods gear and headed out to check one of my mushroom spots. A hike through the woods is much better than a nap on the couch.
