Great hats and thanks for posting everyone. Glad to see everyone safe and healthy.

Wore the creamy white Canadian No. 1 Quality out for a walk with the dogs and family today.

Can anyone with a Winchester Bone coloured hat tell me if this felt hue is similar or the same?

If you haven’t checked out Hufvud you should give it a look. His 100% FEPSA beaver hats are tempting. The queue is much longer than when I bout mine, and there’s a reason for that.
I’ve watched many of his videos. It sure looks like he makes some fine hats. Glad to hear they get the thumbs up from you Brent.

Greetings All:
Today....well...stayed up till about 5:30 watching old movies. That’s a little past my bedtime. Woke up after about an hour and couldn’t get back to sleep. So, it’s me and the bees on the porch with a Knox Twenty, deep diving diamond.
We don’t seem to see the Knox hats near as much as others but they do make a fine hat. On par with the Dobbs Twenty and Mallory Dallas etc.
i would think but Knox wins the felted edge contest. Imho
Be well.
Bowen
Ps: i know, the Dallas has a bound brim.

I love the Portis ribbon treatment! I have an Adams with a similar ribbon treatment that I really enjoy wearing. I will need to break it out and wear it soon.

Thanks Eric. That Adam is a fine looking hat. Not that there is anything to complain about with the Knox you chose for the day.

Damn... belt matches the jacket!
Ha ha, yes it does, Joe. Makes me wonder if there were once matching pants for it.

Looking good Mr A!
I love that hat and really like the beard trim!
Thanks Rusty. I trimmed the beard so I could get a good seal on my face masks. Ha ha. I might keep it up, but I'm already bored with razors.

Thanks all,
Michael

Today....i was out of coffee which all coffeeoholics know leads to untenable brain cramps followed by irrational behaviors. Thus requiring venture out of my iso-cave to a....gasp...public store. The gusty winds tried stealing my Churchill 50 so upon return from coffee victory i snugged down straw.
Soft and floppy, somewhat like me, is the old, 40s-50s, idk Stetson Premier Panama with a generous 3” brim hailing from my home state. A finely weaved skinny ribbon in the Western style serves my favor well.
Be well and safe.
Bowen
Ps: thanks all for kind recent regard. They are remembered.

Love that Straw Bowen.

Brief family outing today, first in way too long. Wore the Akubra, actually hoping to get rained on. It’s been raining for days. Of course it completely stopped for every minute of our adventure. I’m sure the grandparents and great grandparents would be happy anyway. View attachment 223647 View attachment 223648

Somber, but nice pictures Alan. Hopefully you had some nice quiet time to reflect on their lives.
