I have gone from renovating one bathroom to all three. I have a lot of time to think. My conclusion is - if Godzilla was real I would totally be in the construction industry. Never unemployed.

Thank you, Steve. That was a conversion I did last year. Still a few issues with the back but getting better. The wife's been recovering from her eye surgeries and the sight in her right eye looks to be returning little by little. I've been tending to her pretty much and doing all the housework, laundry, doing dishes, tending to the pets....I'm beginning to think she's milking it though.

To be fair, I would too :)

Hope her sight gets better soon.

Yesterday, Fort Worth mayor Betsy Price came up with one of those Texas slang sayings that just might catch on;
Y'all stay safe. Y'all stay healthy and Y'all stay home!

At home with my new homburg from Northwest Hats.

Great Homburg, Randy. Love that quote. Couldn't be said better. I've written it down. Hope they're making bumper stickers and baseball caps with it on!

Stay well, my friend.

Still playing with that, Randall. I watched an episode of the Marvelous Mrs. Mazel last night and one of the secondary characters said that Wedensdays were "Work from home without Pants days". With all the shelter in place mandates we have currently, I thought his statement was appropo!!! Shudde Brothers on top, bull hide Nocona's on the bottom :)

Ha-Ha! Glad you didn't show the middle bit, Randy ;-)

Wearing the new Stylepark Templeform I got in late last week to the office today. Another great deal on a two-fer with a Lee for dirt cheap. They were very dirty and mangled but the Templeform is in perfect condition after pulling out the liner to wash separately, cleaning, steaming, and shaping, and a little ribbon repair.

This is some very nice felt, one of those ‘clay like’ felts that just molds to anything and you just want to pet and mold. The Lee will need a new sweat.

The drive to work today was very strange after our Shelter in Place order went into affect last night. In my 35 years of driving this same highway to the same job every day, I have never seen it like this in rush hour:

That Templeform has a great shape to it, Tim. Super chocolatey colour, too.

Eerie scenes on the highway. My town's like a ghost town. It's like everyday is a Sunday.

Hope you and yours stay safe and well.

Excellent choice, Perry.

Good catch, Tim. Saw it on offer, but I have one in the same colour already, so I passed, but it's a fabulous hat.

There's a lot of hat to work with there, Michael. Lovely colour.

Impeccable as always, Eric. That combination just works so well.

I'd love a tree like that in my garden!

You're halfway there, Brent. Nice colours.
Thanks Stefan. A whole lotta hat I might say.

A stratoliner just always seems to work. Nice!

Super hat, Greg. Looks very good with the brim up. Not all hats do.

Great colour and the finishing looks very good on that one as well. Cool hat.

I really like the look of that one, Dave. It's one of those unknown brand surprises I guess.

Very nice, Michael. The very simple bow design appeals to me for some reason.
Thanks Stefan. It's a pity the boring insects liked this one as much as we do. That was a very nice crop of hats you put out there yesterday.

Love that one, Michael. You couldn't have found a better outfit for it, too!
Thanks Steve. The sheepskin and long haired hat days are getting fewer here.

Great looking Borsalino Homburg, Michael. Is it mirtillo?
Thanks Steve. Yes, mirtillo, though a rather dark specimen of the species.

Thanks all,
Michael

I thought so. You did well to capture the colour, Michael. I have a similar Borsalino in a dark mirtillo which is darned hard to capture.

Thanks Steve. Yes, very hard to get the color. The funny thing is that on some days my eyes see it as a great blue, but the camera refuses to see anything but black. And on other days my eyes see it as black and the camera captures a nice blue. Go figure.

Tonak Antelope on this yet again very sunny but cold day in Elsinore. View attachment 222648 View attachment 222649
Man,, that is a nice hat, Steve. Great color, great felt, great shape.

Thanks,
Michael

Greetings All:
Today...got to spend some time out today with my best friend. Lolo wanted in on the pics so she’s sporting the Uncle Bob 3X LD Sandhiller and me in my lightweight VF Strat. Wish i could say it had some blue in it but that might be a lie.
Be well and safe.

Great pic Bowen, enjoy the time with her.

You’re right on the blue, wish I had one with some in it as well. That Cadet Blue of Eric’s @Short Balding Guy just kills me. Gotta be the prettiest hat I’ve seen, especially considering the Strat is one of my favorite hats as it is.....

Thank you so kindly, Michael. Thankfully, it was a wee bit too large for Stefan's noggin' :)
