Letting your hair down in true hat style, Rick. How to tell the wife she needs to go out of town more often ;-)

This is what happens when my wife goes out of town...
I turn 15 again, the hats come out, and the music gets real LOUD!!
Last night. Multiple hat night. Modern Whippet on my head, Stetson Temple on the left, Borsalino on the right and '70s Stetson front.

This beautiful cold (for us) day called for the Rogers-Peet (Mac Lachlan) Aka Rogers Hall of Fame hat. And.. I figured with such fine felt.. why not attempt the Tres Deuce X crease. It is funny.. I was thinking of trying something like this.. but couldn’t remember what it looked like or what it would even be called.. and out of the blue Neal posted over on Facebook about this crease. My query apparently went out to the universe instead of google. I’m sure I didn’t get it just right.. but it is fun to try!

Today....I believe this is the first hat i ever posted after joining the lounge. I’ve posted it a few times since. I pull it out when i wear certain jackets and today, to see Willow was one. She won’t allow more pics so here’s what i got.
Vintage Flagship with the embroidered liner.
Gotta love those airplanes.

A green Borsalino tonight at a German Restaurant for my sister’s 60th birthday. I need a German hat !

Spent some time today brushing... scrubbing and steaming this Super Borsalino Antica Casa. As well as reattached it’s ribbon. What an improvement! Could use some more work sure... Not perfect.. nor will it be. But There is life left in this one still!! not a full casualty of the ‘Punic wars’ yet @Daniele Tanto HaHa
