My family will sell my hats, but likely fight over the guns lol

Hi all, Churchill Donnell, color is Mink
J. Hückel´s Söhne "Flexible" possibly later 1920s early 1930s. This one is in great condition and has some fantastic elements.
Whippet out Wednesday they said. So I did. Foggy, drizzly day but still got five miles in. Hope everyone is well. View attachment 216194 View attachment 216195

Today....wearing the Disney Camel Hair showcasing the unusual cord reed/sweatband bow treatment. This system makes for an extremely forgiving and comfortable fitting hat. Next to some vintage un-reeded sweatbands which are particularly fragile with wear, this one is the penultimate in comfort if not ultimate. Imho
I truly love this hat’s very soft heathered felt, petite self-edged brim, blue hue, and on and on.
I can’t herald the vintage Disney quality enough. I’m very grateful to be this hat’s conservator.
Two posts in two days...new record for me. Lol
Be well. Bowen
Ps: thanks to all for yesterday’s kind words for the hundred.

Thanks! Perry, I've not been successful in finding much on the store or the owner, though there was a Dr. J who played some basketball in Norfolk, VA before heading north to fame and fortune.
I was thinking I was going to get repetitive. I've posted this hat before - my Christys'. I was even wearing the same coat last time I posted it.
My wife's in a Bailey fur felt that was listed on a second hand site as a sample - L size (59cm), but it said that it was smaller than that. I bought it because A) it looked nice and was a really cheap fur felt and B) it was my size, but even if it was too small, it should fit my wife.
As it turned out, it was too small for me, so my wife claimed it...until today when I noticed it had a double layer of resizing tape inside the sweat band. I removed that, and whaddya know? A perfect fit. Reclaimed! View attachment 216491 View attachment 216492 View attachment 216493 View attachment 216494 View attachment 216495 View attachment 216496 View attachment 216497
