Beautiful St. Regis Dave !

By the way, what is the Nathanael Green Homestead ? His Birthplace ?
Probably my favorite figure from the Revolutionary War. He was a Bad A$$ !!

Hi Tim, The Nathanael Greene Homestead is a National Historic Landmark museum located in Gen. Greene's 1770 home in Coventry Rhode Island, it sits on 40 acres that was once a 1200 acre industrial site owned by the Greene family. The property once housed a large c. 1740 iron foundry, saw mill and grist mill and in 1805 a large paper mill. It is significant as it is where Gen. Greene learned all the skills the skills that made him a great field commander and Quartermaster general by managing his family's vast business holdings.
His birthplace is about 10 miles away and is still standing and owned and occupied by a Greene. The birthplace, called the Forge Farm is located about 10 miles away from the Homestead and is still in the family. It was built c. 1690 by my 8th great grandfather James Greene

This is what happens when my wife goes out of town...
I turn 15 again, the hats come out, and the music gets real LOUD!!

Perfect - Love the Gene Simmons shirt. I was the biggest KISS fan ever in the 70's in Jr. High. My entire room was covered with Kiss Posters and memorabilia. Saw them in concert too many times to count, starting with the Hotter than Hell Tour.

Great concerts !!

Wow, very cool ! Thanks for the info. I've been wanting to head up to the New England area for a long time to visit all the Revolutionary War history, but still haven't made it yet. I will definitely put that on my my list !!

Thanks.

Awesome! I was 15 in 1976... good times! I did the Gene Simmons make up once for a party, I came out down the hallway, My Grandma was standing in the living room unaware. When she turned around and saw me coming down the hall she got so scared, she screamed and came at me with a broom!

Portis Crest in Blue today, to match the beautiful blue sky.

Ha ha, great story. I used to do that a lot with the makeup, and always picked Gene. I actually got pretty good at it. I'll have to look around and see if there are any old pictures......

"Yes I do have 2 green vintage Stetson Stratoliner hats" was the answer to my wife this morning. They are different. The older Stratoliner (decade + earlier hat) has light very malleable felt with a soft fine quality leather sweat. The older one, while still malleable is not baby soft in feel to the fingers.

Stetson Stratoliners in the same felt hue, pine green, are not the same.

The decades difference between the hats is obvious, to me.

Home for lunch and out for a dog walk in a Gannon Wanderer (blue beaver felt with charcoal trimmings).

Thanks sir.

You need many shades of blue fedoras, IMO. The winchester blue hues are not the same. This one is Blue and the one posted below is a VS Executive in Blue Mist.

Feeling blue this afternoon.

Eric -
Beautiful Exec’s. I’m a huge fan of Mr Fawcett. I’m thinking it may be about time for a navy Gannon.
