No head pics yet. Wearing my thin ribbon Caxton conversion. I actually started this one a very good while ago and tucked it away, unfinished. I finally worked up enough ambition and finished the brim binding and ribbon work. I'm done for a little bit until after my appointment with pain management next Friday. I have more in the Conversion Corral...
Thank you buddy. I've always wanted a vintage Strat and an Alessandra thin ribbon but could never afford one, and I had no luck bidding for one on eBay. I just gave up ever trying to get either one. So, I just decided to make my own version.Excellent. Has a Strat look to it.
Good luck on the pain management.
65 degree January day here in NY, but no sun. Going for a quick walk before it gets rainy. My silverbelly VS Artlite and new jacket. This hat seems to have gotten a wee bit smaller and rides a bit high but I love it. View attachment 205455 View attachment 205456 View attachment 205457 View attachment 205458

Dig the Borsalino and your sweater collection Tim. Not sure “only in Texas” applies to that weather. I’m out checking the now receding waters from last night’s deluge of rain wearing a beater Adams. It’s raining again and starting to ice...

Hey Stefan:Thanks, Randy. It is a very high quality hat. Lightweight and thin felt with a nice hand to it. The brim edge is felted, which is always a nice feature. It is green, but with all its redeeming qualities it can be forgiven for that.
Congratulations on the baby!
