Maybe it's raining or maybe not, while I was giving air to the Borsalino it was starting

Borsalino Grand Prix 1900 size 6 or 59 cm. in US it is a 7 3/8, this is a little tight
View attachment 201575
The color of the felt, finished with medium hair, is "Miele" and the ribbon is "Sepia" as are the borders of the brim
View attachment 201576
It is a hat that comes from that immense source that was leftover from the A. Torre in Cava dei Tirreni hat shop
View attachment 201577
The felt has a magnificent color, finish and touch, what does it matter if it is slightly tight and I have not worn it for years ... I had prejudices

Congratulations to you loungers for the hats you show and thank you for your appreciation

Wonderful Daniele

Best,
Joe

So I'm guessing this is not you in this little film:

This is what the Dutch call black ice. Doesn't get any better than that. Makes a very distinct sound when you skate on it and you better keep moving, because it's too thin to stay in one place. When skating you'll see the cracks in the ice shooting out all around you and if it's thin enough you'll have the ice waving before you. You'd love it, Max:D
I have a dark-skinned Mexican golfing friend whose name is Hermilo Zwart. He says his great-grandfather was a Dutchman who upon arrival in Chiapas proceeded to marry into wealthy families several times. The power of blue eyes and blond hair among the descendants of the Mayas.

You could still try it, Stefan. You'd be rich.[emoji1]

Morning all. Haven’t posted anything for a while. Wore my beaver/mink blend in black cherry, from Buckaroo Hatters, today. Hope you like it. I do!

Edit: Just noticed the upper pic no where near represents the correct color. The lower one is closer, but the hat is much darker in reality. Obviously the lighting.
Joao might like your stingy.

Getting old is not for the faint of heart Bob. After "breaking some stuff" (my doctor's words) in September, I am hyper careful walking around. Glad to hear you didn't really screw up anything important, like the crown of your hat.

Ha,ha! Thanks Mike. It happened very fast, but I think I instinctively put one hand on top of my hat and used the other one to fling my work laptop (in a backpack over one shoulder) to the ground as hard as possible. Unfortunately the laptop still works. :(

A very nice Strat you have there. I think that liner is my absolute favorite!

This hat was made by VS using a 1950s Mallory hat body in a color called mahoot. Charlie passed it on to me a couple years ago and I’ve been smiling ever since. :)

Interesting color on this old Mallory body Brent. That felt looks to be a heavy dress weight, luxurious for sure!

I spoke to Art at VS on the phone today, my glacier felt custom should be ready next week!
What a great hat for a "get well" day from the USPS. Can't wait to see it on your newly refurbished head!

Two great hats per usual Stefan. I wish I could pet that nutria, that felt must be really something special. Interesting liner on the Mayser, it almost has the look of a Hückel.

Your parade of all things fluffy has been a joy to behold of late. The color on this one is really nice.

Great images Dave. The sweat logo is really nice.

I like the color of this black cherry Dave. Is it from the "current" dye lots? They have a tendency to be darker than the Black Cherry of a few years ago. Love the ribbon and contrasts.

Very nice Perry. Love the crowns you are able to pull off. Festive shirt and sweater as well.

A "river of rain" is hitting Oregon this morning. Straight from Hawaii. The flooding and wind damage will miss us here in the Willamette Valley. I still need an aerodynamic choice of hat for some last minute shopping for the wife. I think I will also wear this Biltmore Imperial in congnac for tonight's caroling tours of the Monteith Historical District. This is a modern derby, but still very high quality construction. Pictures are from last month, but the outfit is the same.

I purchased the hat in May of 2017. Not sure about which dye lot it came from. Pretty sue it is a Winchester body.

The felt and color on that Nutria are fantastic. Great looks with both hats.

Dang, I like the color on that one, Red. Looking good.

This blue Marathon is always one of my favorites.
Thanks OF. Always one of my favorites, too. Ha ha.

Perfect ensemble.
Thanks Perry. You are looking good under that Stetson today.

Thanks all,
Michael

That's Beautiful! I don't think I have seen that color of Westward before. The felt must be very nice.Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Thanks DD!!! It is quite unusual color...and the felt well.....the crown changes shape every time I touch it!!!! And the brim is not at all stiff and "snaps" however I want it......it is very thin and molds like clay. I need to take a shot of the interior....wonderful gold liner......with gold/brown crest.....I was not wearing it much as I first put in a Rancher/Cattleman crease. I had it laying out and picked it up yesterday and re-creased it with my fingers and put it on!!! It will get more head time now.....
