This hat was made by VS using a 1950s Mallory hat body in a color called mahoot. Charlie passed it on to me a couple years ago and I’ve been smiling ever since.

Thanks Fruno & Scotty. I think I paid about 30 bucks for it several years ago. Fits like it was custom made. The felt is about as thin as a a piece of construction paper.

Very nice! Keep it out of hibernation, it is too beautiful.

That's the only hat I have left to make my vintage collection whole. I don't have that many, but the ones I have they serve a purpose.
