I went to the site you posted and was going to order the antique oil and motorcycle leather conditioner, but they wanted too much to ship it, so I’ll just get some or something else like it when next I go to a big town.
Appreciate the help though.
And no, I didn’t know you was kidding.
I thought you and Max must really like tequila while working on hats. [emoji6]
Sounded fun, till I envisioned myself passed out on top of a crumpled up Mallory Twenty! [emoji16]

Thank you, Steve, I agree with all of that. :)

And it was the last hat I'll ever buy . . . until I bought two more.
I bought a similar one from Mikel. I love the shape and colors, but I dislike the felt.

Bowen told me black ORs are very rare, which is why I bought it. Because it is black and has a rolled edge, I thought maybe someone put an OR sweatband on another model black Stetson, to create a counterfeit black OR, but the sweatband and paper tags match, so now I think it was a black OR that somebody rolled.

Or maybe black ORs had a rolled edge? The roll is very well made. When I bought it I thought I would straighten out the roll, but now that I know how difficult it is to roll it, I changed my mind. Besides, my tastes have changed. I now like pencil curls and even Homburgs, but don't tell Stefan. [emoji1]

And Pecard is a leather conditioner recommended to me by Mike and Brent. Very good stuff. It has different types. I use the Antique Leather Pecard. It is so good at softening leather and making it look new, I am tempted to use it on my face.

As good as can be expected. CAT scan shows tumor gone. Waiting on MRI report. First day was pretty rough as pain killers didn't work very well. Better now. Hope to go home today.

Walking around ok, but i get tired fast. Hormone levels normalized. Front lobe headaches and nasal pain, along with throat pain still present. Oxycontin and Tylenol help. They've been giving me steroids too that help with post surgery swelling.

Good to see you back, Doug. I hope that the pain is short lived, and recovery goes without problems.

This one's unusual. A black, curled brim Open Road. I had my doubts of its authenticity, but the numbers match.
It is a 7 1/8, but after a couple of months on a custom band block and plenty of Pecard, it fits fine.
