Not a very good picture of my Bradford thin ribbon conversion...it was originally an earlier 1960s red liner Western that I converted to this thin ribbon. I redid the brim the other day on a copy of a Strat flange that was made for me by 'Hatters Supply House of Colorado'...

This is closer to the hat's true color

...and, my Royal Stetson OR refurb that was done on the same flange as the Bradford. The brim on this OR is a bit more narrow than the Bradford...

Thanks Steve. Here's the inside. It's my one and only Tesi. Made in Italy but found it in Amsterdam. The sweatband is very comfortable and it's a relatively versatile color for casual and formal.

Thanks Steve. Here's the inside. It's my one and only Tesi. Made in Italy but found it in Amsterdam. The sweatband is very comfortable and it's a relatively versatile color for casual and formal.

Thank you for your words. I got a little lost trying to express my appreciation of Borsalino offerings in the post-war era. Perhaps the tendency often seen to assigning an earlier vintage for Borsalino is the best praise one can give to a hat.

Turned out to be a two hat day today. I had to go out in the rain this evening, so I matched this Cervo, but Tonak made, Fedora with my oil skin coat. An umbrella kept the hat dry [emoji4]

Today....continuing with the Gorasgu Borsalino’s. A “Silchi” long hair with not so much sparkle yet still difficult to capture the luster and texture of the Avorio color. The pics are in several different lights.
I believe Silchi might refer to a silk content which presents a bit softer and fuzzier than the Angora of yesterday.
Or maybe i just need to brush better. Lol
I don’t think this one has been here before but i’m wearin it so you’re bearin it. Ha

Ps: of note..it seems a trait of Gorasgu’s to be non-reeded yet different felts and brim treatments.

You get an OOH AAH on that bad boy, Bowen! Magnificent hat.
