Woah, Bama, that is one huge body of quality work. Awesome!

Thank you, Steve.

That hat is straw perfection! That would be a good one for the desert. Good choice of tunes too!

Thanks, Dd. Great desert hat and I'm keeping my eyes open for you. Big fan of Steve's.

Love the tall crown. It’s hard to find a tall Panama nowadays.

Thank you, Bill. They are kinda rare. This one opens up to almost 7" but it tapers like a speer point bullet.

Magnificent, Greg! That hat must have taken a long time to weave.

Thanks, Reggie. My thoughts as well.

That's an impressive hat, Greg.

Thanks, Jim.

Very impressive, as Jim said. Amazing that Wrangler used to sell such a quality Panama hat.

Thanks, Doug and I agree. I have two of them but this one is the gem of the two. They both had the original price tag attached and this one sold for $120.00 and the lesser, probably later one sold for $175.00.

Another day of excessive heat warnings here. Oh yay.
Have a good one,
Michael
Unknown maker, but a very good looking boater, Michael. There always seems to be music in your town. Must be a cool place to live.

That would be worth it for the pug alone, Michael. Was it shaped to be worn with the backbrim down?
Thanks Stefan. The back brim snaps down about the same as the front does. I wore it down for most of the day, but snapped it back up sometime during the music show.

Straw weather today, but with the new hats chomping at the bit to have a go, I had to give at least on of them a spin. Stetson 3x beaver with mode edge.

Thanks Steve. I don't know why they didn't label this one. It still has the tip protector, but there is no indication there. All it says is Made in Italy on the sweatband and on the size tag. It does have that Bon-ton Ivy, or whatever it is called, floating sweatband.

We bill ourselves as the greatest small city for the arts.

We have a program called The Summer of the Arts that has a free outdoor music show every Friday evening thru the summer and also does three large free festivals, Arts, Jazz and Blues & Soul. Plus a couple of businesses are sponsoring free outdoor music at the same venue on Thursday evenings. And then numerous other festivities that include music outdoors throughout the summer. Lots of fun to be had.

Thanks,
Michael

This morning's thunder storms have me reaching for a coated Stetson Whippet panama. Excellent hat for warm rainy mornings.
