Nice summer look, Stefan. All three hats look really cool, but that Penumbra is a very eye catching modern Panama. Fleur certainly knows her stuff. Nicely worn, too.

Super looking Borsalino Homburg, Steve. The pinches add texture and depth to the wonderful grey felt. The clear "Technicolor" colors on the liner look late 50s early 60s "Technicolor" to my untrained eye. A great Borsa whatever its vintage.

Steve, It might be early 1940s but this is an older one. It has the separate size stamp plus the overall construction and higher quality components. The condition is NOS. In the later 1950s you see Echter Borsalino + Export Qualität. As you moved into the early 1960s just Export Qualität.

Like I had nothing to do with it?

I gave her a little bit of a spa treatment, then took her for another spin 'round the block.

Later I wore that old thing from my days in the army.

I like the hat a lot. It piques my curiosity to source one sized for myself, a short bald fellow. Of course the bar pics are more accurate - when are not pics and opinions not better or more accurate than at a bar with a fav beverage. Thanks for sharing the hat.
