Today is a nice and sunny day but a bit chilly so I went with my favorite combo, moto jacket, white tee and Stetson 7x.

Michael,
Yes your coat is really nice......good one there! Mine is a summer weight raw linen......not the awesome cashmere like yours.....seem to be the same weave.....so much alike it got my attention.;)
Really cool!
Best,
Mark:)
Thanks Mark. I thought yours looked like it was linen. Hard to find a nice linen jacket around here in anything other than cream plain weave. I lucked out on the timing in finding this one and another yesterday, as today and tomorrow might be the only days when wool jackets will be comfortable until maybe October sometime.

Sheeze Michael, if a Whippet is to be upstaged by a jacket...Zegna is the one!!
Their wool and cashmere is beyond world class. Every year they have awards for all the producers in Australia an New Zealand for who gets to supply their wool that year.
I gave my Son a cashmere/wool dress overcoat for Christmas. He didn’t know what he had. I wanted it sooo bad!
Super nice again Michael. As always you are a stylist nonpareil!!

Thanks Bowen. Zegna makes some fine cloth, to be sure. And this particular piece of cashmere is so soft.

Thanks,
Michael

I remember that Champ coming through my hands. Truly a special, light weight felt. That Habig is a beautiful color.

Two new hats today. First, a Dobbs Rancher Thirty, then an Optimo McQueen in Silverbelly Heirloom felt.

Both of these are very nice Max. I really dig the innards of the Dobbs though. That sweat is sweet!

Super straw! Tri-motor powered.

Pristine!

The sweat looks brand new. Love the weave.

No idea how it showed up here, Red. I'm rather happy it did though as I took it out for a bike ride today and it was very bike friendly.

Cooling down early here this evening, so a little fooling around in the Royal Beaver 20 thing.

20 bucks well spent!

You always remember the first. Doesn't get much head time anymore, but this Adam heathered pork pie will always be special:

Wonderful finish on that Adam. What does the sweat/liner look like. Classic early 60s lines.

We hit 96F today and tomorrow promises more of the same. I wore the Norman Cuenca today with a guayabera. Too hot for my old bones!
I'll try to get out early today, then hold up in the A/C at home. We are just not used to this kind of heat this early in the season. We are such weather wimps.

Wet Whippet Wednesday morn

Sounds like felt hat weather all day here. Though it could be a bit damp at times.

Have a great Wednesday,
Michael
I absolutely love the color on this Whippet Michael.

Good day. This morning I was out and about in a Gannon (bone hued beaver felt). This is a perfect light weight hat for a nearly 60'f summer morning.

Best, Eric -
Love Bone felt, it is scary to wear though.

Cheating a bit as this is not the hat I'm wearing today but yesterday. I posted it in the Homburg Nation Thread, but forgot to post it here. I can recommend that thread if you're into or want to get into Homburgs. I bought this one from Daniele two or three years back. Thankfully, it wasn't his size.
Carlton, French. Circa very early 1950s.
I love the dimensions on this one, the simple colour combination, and the feel of the felt.

I absolutely love the color on this Whippet Michael.
I spent less than he $20, but then it was sans sweat.

The Whippet was trying out as camouflage on my usual wall this mornng

Heading out for some errands early today before the oppressive heat hits. Early 1960s Dobbs Milan is one of my grab and go straws.

I like those 60s milans. I was looking at a Champ for awhile at my favorite vintage store, but it was just a touch small. Think it's gone now, but there was a similar looking and vintage Sears one there now.

Got out for a bit of a bike ride this afternoon. Got a little damp at times. Since the Whippet doesn't go biking I changed to a Royal Stetson.
