I spent less than he $20, but then it was sans sweat.

The Whippet was trying out as camouflage on my usual wall this mornng

I like those 60s milans. I was looking at a Champ for awhile at my favorite vintage store, but it was just a touch small. Think it's gone now, but there was a similar looking and vintage Sears one there now.

Got out for a bit of a bike ride this afternoon. Got a little damp at times. Since the Whippet doesn't go biking I changed to a Royal Stetson.

Have a good evening,
Michael
Thanks Michael, love the feel of a true milan. The fake "florentines" are OK, but nothing beats an original.

I liked Micheal's cap better than this one.
It also looked like it might fit me better than this one (I'm sure i could spin it on my head if I tried). However, it's the only headwear I own made in Greece. Maybe Neptune will grow my 57cm head to 62cm. Stranger things seem to have happened if you listen to Greeks, and enough Greek breakfasts will certainly make some part of me more rotund.

Thanks for the compliment Jeff. Bone is a terrific light felt option. I do have a saved pic of your Falcon Park on my laptop - love it. I see in your hat post that your temps have been modest like our Minnesota temps. It is great to have daytime temps highs in nearly 65'f s of late!

This evening I am grilling a late dinner wearing a VS Stratoliner (inspired clone) in a sage beaver felt.

Best, Eric -
How're the skeeters?
Minnesota is beautiful, but those little vampires are worse there than anywhere else I've been.

The hat was made in 1998, but never comes into my hands without ever being worn

Lightweight and very flexible it is finished with a superb care

The measurements are the classic ones: 10 at crown and 6 at brim
