Bill, have you ever looked for any date code on this one? The Switzerland hoods are supposed to be early with Peters Bros & their association with Amon Carter. Info is so hard to come by.

No date inside this hat. Brad Peters identified the liner as being from the 60s. The liner is not the typical Shady Oaks liner. Brad told me the Switzerland hoods were used into the 60s. He also said this was technically not a Shady Oaks but is a full beaver Shady Pines. In order to get a 100% Shady Pine (which was normally a 50% beaver) a customer could order a Shady Oak Bankers Special One Hundred with a wider brim. And that is why the sweatband has the Bankers Special One Hundred information.

Another sunny day with the hope to have some rain soon

Borsalino "Trionfo" size is 6 1/2 or 60 cm. 7 1/2 US

Color is "Mirtillo" type is "Mula" sold in Sofia in the "Simeon Zlateff" shop probably in the end thirties or early forties

The felt is very velveteen of medium weight, there is a wind cord without button as in the old Borsalino

For the seekers of the "paper label" tells history of Borsalino, this is not celled even if the interior is of the era of the Steve research

The Lobbia came in excellent conditions until the second millenium via London.

An interesting observation, Perry. Frank was born in 1915, the same year as the Panama-Pacific International Exposition which was held in San Francisco and celebrated with the medal image printed on the sweatband and liner of this hat.
