Yes, it's the Classic Fedora. I was never told the WPI, and I haven't bothered to count it. I like it, and that's fine. I think my BB has a higher count, but I don't like it as much as this one.

This is interesting, Max. Do you not like how the BB is blocked? I’d like one really nice dress Panama, but I balk at paying those prices for a “straw” hat. I made an offer on a BB and wasn’t disappointed when it was declined.

So am I! The Mallory actually did very well handling the rain. I'm always a bit worried with these lighter hats that water stains stay behind. Thankfully nothing like that with this one.

Here is the new Stetson Chatham hat in Tawny I just received after the first one, in Mink, had proven slightly defective. The customer service at Fashionable hats was terrific.

I definitely prefer the color of this one now. However, I note it is very similar to another Stetson I recently acquired, also in Tawny. I put up a couple side by side pics. The other is a “Stetson Handmade for Belfry” named Playmont, and has a smother feel and lighter felt and a bound edge. Both are 2 3/8” brim and interestingly have the same model number following their names in the tags.

So pretty similar to one already on the rack, but still nicely different in subtle ways.
