Likely one of the last of it's kind, 60's Stetson 7X CB. All photos taken at the same time, same lighting but significant color changes.

Thank you, gents. Yes, as I said previously, I just happened to catch Bill in a moment of weakness and he's let me be the caretaker of this one for a while...a very long while!

Gorgeous hat, Randy. I really like that ribbon and the shallow brim flange.

Ahh...so that’s where that one lives now.
Gorgeous!

I know right away when it's an Adrián, @Miamibruno hat on ebay. The angle the picture is taken in, the background, the quality...
I've had him on my saved searches for a while now. Besides, always a fair price, always shipped promptly, always an expert and honest description, and he speaks Spanish.

I just wish he listed more 7 1/4s and 7 3/8s.

It's because he wears a 7 1/4. [emoji16]

Sent directly from my mind to yours.

Excellent hat, Greg. I've managed to pick up a great Strat, 25, and 100 in the last few months and the 7X CB is now very high on my "get list". Always glad to see another great example here in the Lounge.

Thanks, RM. I'm fortunate enough to have a couple of them. The other is a 50's era with the LD liner. IMO, the felt and finish of these hats rival the 100's made during the same time frames in as far as the felt, finish and appointments go. Just didn't come with the fancy cases. I'll keep my eyes open for you as well, especially since we're not the same size.

You are a new super hero - Plaid Man! What super powers do you bring to the snow shovel? Love that furry hat, always a treat to see.
Thanks Red. They call this stuff shadow plaid, and I kind of like the sound of Shadow Plaid Man. Ha ha. The snow was a lot heavier and stickier this time and the snow shovel nearly wrestled me into submission.

Well suited is the right description, Michael. You never did find out what critter the hat was made out of, did you?
Thanks Stefan. Never did figure it out by web searching and it's not like there is a furrier in every town anymore.

Another American one that deserved some headtime. Adam.

Another great hat and outfit pairing. Looks like you could use a little sunshine over there?

Thanks,
Michael

It’s good to see you posting again. We had a mutual acquaintance years ago in my neighborhood hatter Gary White.

Ah, yes. Gary ended up making 5 hats for me. I'll post my favorite one here soon. Do you know how Gary is? Still making hats?
