A rare January 1 walk in mild temperatures and sunshine, wearing an early Austrian velour. Also, a short video from last night, sharing a bottle of champagne with my father in law who was celebrating his 100th New Year’s Eve. A toast for good fortune to all!

Thanks for sharing that Alan. I wish your father-in-law (and us all) many more New Years.

Happy New Year to you and the little dude. I'm not a fan of the modern OR's or much of anything in the modern hat market outside of custom work, but you make these modern OR's look so great. The dimensions and profile suit you very well, along with the colors you've selected. It also helps to know how to wear a hat. You do that well, sir.

Welcome aboard. Hope you keep posting.

Thanks! I enjoy seeing all these pics daily and definitely appreciate the vintage and modern makers that you all post. Everyone has such stellar hats on this thread!

Hopefully in time I can gather some vintage or custom felt now that I have collected a few colors/styles of the easier to find modern stuff. It's addicting. The nicer stuff is hard to find, but I'm looking.
