Catching up again. Missed this beauty over the weekend. Love the finish, looks like the sweat is pristine.20NOV1922 dated Mell's "Mell-O-Fit"

What a wonderful finish. I have sent a couple Barbisio Titans to Stefan recently, they sure are superb hats.I had promised Stefan to open the boxes of hats with long hair
Here is the first of the series
Barbisio Titan size 60 or 7 1/2 US made, probably, in the sixties
The color is "Marron" and the felt is Beaver, a rarity for the European hat making. Soft enough and with another consistency compared to long hairs in rabbit or hare
It is clearly a product of the highest quality and appropriate price. Here I wore it in diffused light and with some rays of sunlight to give light to an already bright felt of his own
The brim was snap down, but it is very nice even with brim ups
Thanks for your recents likes and kind words
Buona domenica!
Like the style Bob. Mike did a great job on this one.View attachment 150284

Man, I love this color. I wonder if he still has this felt color? Need to make a trip down south to Art's facility.Good morning folks. The beaded hat bands, conversions, longhair hats, gorgeous vintage and modern hats of late have been spectacular. Thanks for sharing.
Today's relative heat wave, 20'f without a wind, finds me doing outside chores in a VS fedora with a gill ribbon treatment. No jacket required for chores - so far. The VS (blue/gray) blue-smoke beaver felt is a fav hue of mine.
Best, Eric -
Love the color on the Dallas. Does it have a blue tone to the gray or is it the Iowa light? Thanks Red. I have to settle for hills around here, but then again I guess I've always favored hills to mountains for anything except a view.
Thanks D. You were looking good in the tux again.
I haven't had this Dallas on for awhile.
