I like that they stacked up all those "X" markings around a 100. Cool sweat. I didn't know that Bailey made such a wonderful model.Ava and I went to check the critter cam. I’m wearing a new-to-me Bailey 100X. She resists wearing hats.
Impressive Richard. Wonderful liner. Is the replacement sweat a recent addition or was it done back in the day?Stetson Twenty Five
Have a great weekend everyone

Hope you had a great end to the week. That Stratoliner has a lot of class. Great color.Foggy Funkytown Friday. Had a Jones for wearing this vintage Stratoliner.
Happy Friday all!

Rich color of brown Daniele. What are the features that date this to the 1940s? Liner and sweat logos? This hat was found by Stefan on the Northern European market, although it was sold in Genoa, so he deserves credit and thanks
Borsalino Marca Colombo. Size 6 1/2 or 7 1/2 US and 60 cm. in EU
Color is "Angico" which is a wood, no other indication on the paper label
It is a vintage Borsalino, probably from the 40s, in the immediate post-war period because some features bring it closer to the hats of the thirties
The thin felt has a "mano pesca" finish that is velvety and soft, very malleable to the touch.
It has been carefully restored by Fleur of Penumbra Hats in Netherlands
I can tell you that it is one of my favorite Borsalino
Have nice Friday
She wants to be like Grandpa! Love the lines of that Borsalino. Is it Mirtillo?View attachment 146540 View attachment 146541 View attachment 146542 View attachment 146543 Greetings All:
Today...it’s a short Willow watch shift. I went with a Blue Borsalino. Willow choose a translucent Yellow Tupper. I think she’s getting the hang of this thing!!
Be well. Bowen
Nice looking Penman Doug, love that showy ribbon.Out for errands today wearing a custom Penman Steel.
.
That Panizza looks to have some age to it based on the liner. Sure has nice lines.Hey folks!
This Panizza on a warm afternoon.
Have a great day!

That one really turned out great. The difference in the taper just makes that hat! Now it is a true classic looking ORish clone. After looking at the serious front to back taper on this Kevin McAndrew Western, I decided to rework it...
Stripped down and on the block for a straight sided open crown
Off the block and recreased into a Cattleman vs its original cutter crease. I also changed out the original ribbon for this matching colored 3/8 thin ribbon with an OR style bow
On the head from a few different angles
It originally came as a lower crowned Western with a more narrow three inches wide brim. I left it that way with the original specs rather than choosing to change it up and converting it to a fedora. I always liked these kinds of Westerns.
Now for some Rock A Billy tunes!
Saw this one over on FB earlier, sure is a showpiece. Colors are superb.Stetson select quality with bound upbrim, right around the market crash on the timeline, I think.
