Stefan, Thanks again!Must have missed the velour memo of today, but these two hats have it well covered. Great hats.

I am technologically impaired, Daniele. Whenever I acquire new dental equipment, the installers have to go through everything several times.Peach is also a fruit and the processing of the felt recalls the peel of the peach. This term is used in the language of Italian hatters to define a felt finish.
You asked yesterday why your Optimo melusine hat had such a color outside the parameters. The reason is the artificial light, that is the light of the house that illuminates you that alters the colors. Better you photographers in natural light, that is that of the day. I remember you, there is a device on your phone so you can photograph yourself directly from the screen looking at you and having the right sides, now you have the sides that are opposite to the real ones. The bow in men is on the left, women have it on the right
Ha ha haSo I was going to do this to keep my secret identity...

Max, instead of a hat you could buy a cellphone and have a very short lesson how to take photos of you and your hats. I think it could be better to show your purchasesI am technologically impaired, Daniele. Whenever I acquire new dental equipment, the installers have to go through everything several times.
I have looked in my phone, and can't find it. As many have pointed out, here and elsewhere, I am not a very patient guy. I got frustrated and felt like throwing the entire cell phone away, so I just stopped trying.
Beautiful Dog, hat and that hatband makes me wanna start a new hobbie!Ava and I went to check the critter cam. I’m wearing a new-to-me Bailey 100X. She resists wearing hats.
Daniele: stunning color! Such a deep rich chocolate. Pics #1 an 5 really bring out the richness. Maybe next time we could see the liner for reference??This hat was found by Stefan on the Northern European market, although it was sold in Genoa, so he deserves credit and thanks
Borsalino Marca Colombo. Size 6 1/2 or 7 1/2 US and 60 cm. in EU
Color is "Angico" which is a wood, no other indication on the paper label
It is a vintage Borsalino, probably from the 40s, in the immediate post-war period because some features bring it closer to the hats of the thirties
The thin felt has a "mano pesca" finish that is velvety and soft, very malleable to the touch.
It has been carefully restored by Fleur of Penumbra Hats in Netherlands
I can tell you that it is one of my favorite Borsalino
Have nice Friday
Excellent hats again, Rodolfo. The pic with the coffee had me wondering a bit though, but I see everything's back to where it should be with this oneSaturday Black Coober Pedy..

Thanks, Mike. I think the Dunn is fifties; by the early and mid-sixties the British hatmakers were in big trouble and the quality of the work was not as good. This one is by T&W Lees. One of my absolute favorites of yours Justin. The looks you are sporting of late are really spectacular, wish I could pull it off.
Made me chuckle this morning. Super nice Derby, looks to be in stellar shape.
Both great Gannons Eric. But that silvermist...just wow!
Good to see another classic looking Homburg. Love that Mayser Stefan. Is the Dunn & Co. from the 50s?
Great brim curl on that Royal Perry. Like the shirt and sweater combo.
This is exactly the hat I've been thinking about for my next custom from Mike Miller. Very nice Bob.
Made my morning seeing the beautiful toned black cherry. Thanks Rodolfo.
It is so good to see that one again and back to glory too. For a hat that's not my size (and I was very disappointed to find that out) it has found the best home an Italian hat can find. It certainly needed some work and I'm glad it can see the light of day again. Excellente! This hat was found by Stefan on the Northern European market, although it was sold in Genoa, so he deserves credit and thanks

She does, but cute as she is, the blue borsalino is still the winner today!View attachment 146540 View attachment 146541 View attachment 146542 View attachment 146543 Greetings All:
Today...it’s a short Willow watch shift. I went with a Blue Borsalino. Willow choose a translucent Yellow Tupper. I think she’s getting the hang of this thing!!
Be well. Bowen
Beautiful Dog, hat and that hatband makes me wanna start a new hobbie!
But...mention of critter cams and no pics makes me sad. Wahh
