I didn't know that Texas could be warm in November. I lived in Spring for about six months once, but it was from February to July.

Upper 70's F, maybe 80 by Thursday but freezing nighttime temps again by next weekend. It goes from hot to cold and back. Fall and spring seem to be a few days for us each year

After so many rumors, false news and big lies on Borsalino, here is an example of modern production

It is well understood that you must know how to choose, but I see with pleasure that a pair of hats from the 18-19 collection are fantastic and have a "good" price, even less than one of the many hatters now active

It came new and unworn along with two others

Silver mist is intriguing! That’s a beauty of a Gannon. It reminds me of a cross between bone and the Tumwater hat silver belly, which in my case was cooler and lighter than other silver bellies I’ve seen. Very nice! What color is the ribbon? My phone screen makes it out to be either black or a dark maroon.

Nowadays I can't understand why I didn't like straight-sided crowns when I started in the Lounge. What's not to like? That is a beautiful hat, Jim. The ribbon looks dark maroon in my screen also. Is it?

Thanks, guys. The ribbon is a burgundy color. I forget what Mr. Gannon called it. I ordered this after seeing Rodolfo's (@Chamuco) Silver Mist Gannon. The batch his was made from had a bit more of a bluish tint, which was very desirable. I really love this color and this hat, but tend to not wear it as often as it seems "dressy" to me. I need to bust it out more often.

I understood perfectly. If you spent time in Spring in July, then you felt both the heat and humidity. November through March is the best time to be in Spring if you have to be there!!!!

It seems to be holding a nice shape Max. I have a Brent with this stiff like felt, nice change every once in a while. I really like the showy liner of this one.

Hold up in the house most of the day with contractors destroying our kitchen. Leaving for a quick trip to the store for supplies (we are living out of the microwave in the family room, need more pop-tarts!) and needed a quick grab-and-go. The soft, floppy Barbisio from the Dutch connection was handy. I really like this hat, I just let it do what it wants. I notice a goofy twist in the pinch this morning...

That is truly one of the most beautiful hats on the Lounge. I love that brim stitching, nice detail.

The white stuff, along with some chilly temps have descended upon my fair city. No Mr. Sol today. We we're talking about Silver Mist hats lately, so I thought I'd wear the first Gannon I ever ordered.

I really like the Silvermist felt. My Olcott from Mike Miller is in this color. I like the edge binding in a lighter contrast. The burgundy ribbon is perfect for this color felt. 10/10 Jim.

Perhaps we should dolphinitely scale back on the fish puns. I was wearing a Gannon with fintastic gills this morning.

Bob, a word of caution. Over time those Sterling silver and/or copper hatbands like that will cut a grove into the brim even when they fit tight, but especially when they fit loose.
