Took the vintage Christy's Wildfowl to church for the first time today. I don't usually like feathers but today I thought they added a nice touch. Besides - my wife liked them so that settled it. I love the blending of the green and brown in the felt.

BTW I got this from fellow lounge member @stetsonofagun aka Andrew. Turns out we live pretty close to one another.

You should post that liner in the "Lovely Liners" thread, Reggie.

Last night I gave a presentation about the history of Fraternities and Sororities at Oregon State to an Alumnae group of Pi Beta Phi. They all enjoyed my hat! Lots of good questions and memories shared. I was in my element, I had to cut it off after about 90 minutes. I decided a 1940s inspired custom would be an appropriate hat to talk campus history in.

Excellent color palette! Sounds like an interesting presentation.

Love the head gear show! Hats, caps and the like - excellent!

Busy work time, cool weather and a spate of breezy days with infrequent dustings of snow have found me outside in a cap of late.

Best, Eric -

I like the pattern on that cap. Lots of material on it too! Looks like the water is still wet up there; enjoy it while it lasts! Great pics, Eric.

Good morning everyone. I'll be back to show you some Italian hat and start with a puzzle
28rob39.jpg

It was sold in a Borsalino boutique, exactly the one in Milan in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, so it should be a Borsalino and instead, despite appearances it is not

I have a series of italian hats of the same construction, color and style, one of these days they will be on comparison

This, almost certainly, was produced in Monza, I say it for some constructive details that lead my assessment towards the city of the racetrack and one of the great hats districts of Italy

The proportions are those of a typical Italian wide-brimmed hat. The felt is very beautiful as well as the finish

Have a nice day and compliments for the last week hats, loungers from every part of the world
