We are watching our Seahawks in a close one this afternoon. I'm wearing my blue Dobbs Gay Prince.

I find it hard to go against the consensus. The Cambiaghi for me, too, though contrary to most, I go for the Mossant in second. Let’s say third equal for the
Borsalino Cocisca Ginestra and the Dunn & co.
As always, there are no wrong answers.

Heading out for coffee in my first scratch built hat for its first public outing this morning. Got the Sweatband sewn in and Liner fit last night. Did a little steaming and let it sit on a brim block overnight to get a little snap in the brim. Felt is really soft so I may end up with some stiffener on the brim to hold the shape a little better. Kind of a Fedora / Western crossover as it sits right now. Im sure there will be some more shaping before Im done. Going to play with some different ribbon/ bow combinations for the hatband over the next couple days

Me and Mrs. quik, Wish you all who read and contribute on TFL all the best this Holiday Season.
I'm thankful for the friends I've made here, the things I've learned, the humor, the nice hats, and the inspiration from your pictures from all over the HAT world. MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Thank you all and Cheers!

Well....today i was planning on pulling out one of my most special, Stetson did it friggin alright, wear only for something special hat, just to brighten up my day.
I was brushing it and noticed a thingy place, then a kinda unrecognized area and immediately went into “Panic Thought Mode”. Oh, who been messin with my hats?? Dog, hit the road!!! You know just regular hat panic.
Alas, i turn it over and what?? Oh yeah, it’s the little brother!!
Hippo digs the Hollywood thing!
I also answered my own question.
Yes, Stetson did make an Open Road 3X Last Drop. Duhh
Be well. Bowen
Yuletide Greetings,

I happen to have a hat horror story, that unlike yours, does not have a happy ending.

I was taking a siesta on one's sofa one Sunday afternoon two summers ago. In my dreams I hear this crunching sound and wonder what on earth it could be? I open one eye to see our 12 year old yellow Labrador Retriever having decided that my Straw Boater from Lock & Co. in London England was the perfect chew toy! As one does not have a spare $275.00, plus shipping, getting another in the near future is not an option. I thought at 12 years of age it was safe to put the hat on a chair. Her inner puppy must have reared it's head. Beware, canines and hats do not often mix well.
