Thanks, Michael I thought so great coat. That Stetson your wearing today is pretty spiffy too.

Thanks D.

Must have missed the memo. Yours can carry Sovereign day on its own though; superb hat.
Thanks Stefan.

Looks very cool too, Michael.
Thanks again Stefan. Sadly, none of my bowlers are lined, so they are all a bit cool for winter wear.

Nice pair of hats, Stefan. The Condor looks to be some lovely thin felt.

I'm always ready for a bowl of chili no matter the weather. I'm always in awe of a bowler especially when worn in style. Michael, you rock.

Thanks Steve. I'm a pretty big fan of chili in all seasons, too. This latest batch is definitely bringing the heat.

Curiously, Chili isn't a Mexican dish. I can only find it in Wendy's. It tastes just like the one my Mom used to make.

My versions of chili make no claim to be anything but upper midwestern. But whatever the origin, it's a tasty combo of ingredients.

Thanks all,
Michael

I usually wear this silver Navajo band with a different hat. It is great on that one - a 7 1/8 Stetson 7XCB western with the same skinny ribbon. But the weight of the silver makes it a heavy wear and accentuates the fit of the hat, which is a little large for me. So giving it a ride on this pre-war nutria today.
