Thanks again Stefan. Sadly, none of my bowlers are lined, so they are all a bit cool for winter wear.

Nice pair of hats, Stefan. The Condor looks to be some lovely thin felt.

Thanks Steve. I'm a pretty big fan of chili in all seasons, too. This latest batch is definitely bringing the heat.

My versions of chili make no claim to be anything but upper midwestern. But whatever the origin, it's a tasty combo of ingredients.

Thanks, Michael. The felt is quite thin, very soft, but tough as nails at the same time. I like todays Whippet; that ribbon lifts it up.

I usually wear this silver Navajo band with a different hat. It is great on that one - a 7 1/8 Stetson 7XCB western with the same skinny ribbon. But the weight of the silver makes it a heavy wear and accentuates the fit of the hat, which is a little large for me. So giving it a ride on this pre-war nutria today.
