Nice Resistol! Looks like new. This isn’t the 100 is it?

:) My mustache, like all my hair, is getting lighter/grayer by the day. I need some of whatever Terry

Hey, Richard. The felt on this hat is very soft. It’s the softest custom hat I own. None of my custom beaver fur felts are anywhere near as soft (the beaver do have a nicer hand).
Thanks, I've been admiring his hats and trying to not talk myself into ordering one. Resistance may be futile.

Summer's last hurrah here today. Supposed to be 86. Sadly, with a very hat unfriendly gale force wind. This morning, before the winds arrive, it's the Wormser,

A lovely bit of 10 Star felt.

That Wormser is just beautiful Michael. That outfit is the cat's meow!

Sweet little stingy Max. During the end of the line for C&K.

Another fantastic Playboy! Today has been great. Love the colors on this one.

Hufvud in Natural which is more of a dark taupe in this FEPSA rabbit and hare blend.

And a brims up for Bob:

The tone of this natural felt is slightly different from stateside felt. I think it is a little richer in color. Sure is a nice piece you got from this guy.

Paris accord... jacket by Lanvin, hat by Stetson. Some unusual finishing trim in this depression era real nutria quality. The pitch on the sweatband stitching is about as fine as it gets. For you old timers, this hat was originally gleaned from eBay by eagle-eyed FL member Zetwal. I purchased the hat from him.
What a fantastic hat Alan. That brim binding is truly unique. The condition is incredible!

Thanks! I agree about the color combo. The sweatband has a very soft hand. By the way here is the back bow.

Yummy!

No Playboy here, but this Borsalino Savoy has soft felt that molds like clay... clay furfelt, yeah, that's the ticket. Classic back ribbon on grey felt. Beautimous!

Super nice Borsalino Doug. Classic look and set up.

Mike, Thank you! The felt on this one is very receptive to the clip (also the very tall crown). It's hard to describe without having the felt in hand. Do any of your clips have "Dermotta" on them?
I got a box of them from Etsy. They are from Crete so they have Greek writing on them. Hard to tell the age, the box doesn't help much.

Warm enough that the straws are still in play. 1970s Stetson Derringer.
Stay with it as long as possible Bob. I do like the weave on the crown.

Very nice Christophe. Classic.

Another museum quality piece, Alan, and what a wonderful hat it is. Just fantastic in every way.

If I retire in the US, it will be in Reno, Nevada, Justin. I will hire a PI to follow you around until he finds your hat source or the location of your time machine.

No, this is not the 100. This one is a silver mist type color with a hint of green. Here is an older pic I posted awhile back.

Bailey Blixen. Tried as best I could to match my shirt. My wife wasn't around to ask if the shirt was blue or purple. Being red green color blind is fun at times. My kids think it's funny. :)

Rockel powered John. Such a classic German look.

Hückel Weilheim, probably late 1950s early 1960s. A gift from Daniele back in 2016. Very unique + fantastic felt for a Homburg.
Outstanding finish on this Hückel Steve. It is perfect in every way!

Barbisio Homburg classic this evening.

Super looking Homburg (Lobbia) Max. I do like the detail of that liner.

30s Stetson crush weight for this rainy day

Don't crush it! I like it just the way it is. Incredible hat Justin.

Thanks Red. It got to 89 here today, so I had to ditch the jacket for my ride. Tomorrow is supposed to make 55 if we are lucky. So excellent hat weather. When are we going to be seeing more of the new gills?

Thanks,
Michael

It was 85 degrees this afternoon. It is 40 now, on the way to 35. I expect some pretty extreme changes in these parts but a 50 degree spread in a handful of hours is crazy even for here!
Anyway, the Texas Haters Brisa bowler went out for a ride today.
