I took the dog, the Sundance Kid, for a walk.
I will hazard, an opine, that I wear the only Homburg on this 18 hole golf course.

This time of night you really don't see many polyester clad gentlemen zipping around in carts.
A golf course at night is an unusual kind of oasis if you live in a city.
The sprinklers are sometimes a challenge.

Excellent parade, young man! Love them all.

Waiting for the change of season and the end of temperatures outside the norm, we have been traveling for ten days between 33/34 Celsius, I use the morning to walk

The straw cone comes from South America and I asked Fleur to give it a nice shape

I spent the morning opening and closing some boxes with felt hats. I prepare myself for the change in advance

Thanks for the likes and appreciation
Buona giornata, hoping in the next days it will cool a little bit

Most excellent homburg. I'm waiting for cooler weather myself but looking forward to living life through your pictures!

Small trip today for the annual car service and this vintage royal stetson homburg came with me. I don't wear homburgs often enough, maybe I should? View attachment 182600
I love grey, all variations, with blue, beige/tan or brown undertones, but the green undertones on this one speak to me ! View attachment 182601

Have a nice Friday,

No aurora borealis last night, but tonight?!? The temps are refreshing this morning, around 16-17C. Time for pie... porkpie, by Art Fawcett, in granite. I'm debating about swapping the pug, pals...

Nice hat. I wish I could wear a pork pie hat. But they're not on my wife's approval list. . I bought one years ago and she hated it on me so much that I had to take it back to the store.

I dress myself.
If you remember, did you go brim up, or down in front? A porkpie presents more conservatively (or less “bad boy?”) when snapped down in front, IMO.
When you bring home your next porker, try that without special introduction. You’ll see!

Yesterday a blue hued fedora (vintage Stetson) was my choice to spend time on the dock.

As it grew colder I switched to a vintage Playboy.

The green Playboy was on a wooden block from yesterday evening and within reach and hence is my morning hat. Green goodness on a Saturday morning.

Cool Minnesota, USA summer days rock! Eric -

Beautiful hats as always, but what is this “colder” word of which you speak? It seams to stir a long forgotten memory.

I tried to wear it with the brim up & down. She's just not a fan of me in shorter brimmed hats.

After a lot of trial and error, I tend to agree with her. I don't look good in hats with less than a 2" brim.

I dress myself.
