What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

Good look, Perry but you're weather must be like ours. Been in the 90's here with 50-60% humidity. I haven't stowed my straws yet either, while Charlie wears board shirts.
Thanks Greg. This is very unusual for NE Ohio this time of year. While warm and humid, not as all bad as where you are.
At this point I am enjoying the last dregs of summer.
Having grown up in Dixie, I am still not used to the frigid winters here.

A quick-pic drop-off, and I'll be back to oogle the parade of perfection in a bit....

NOBODY can keep up with @drmaxtejeda these days, especially when bringing the top shelfers like that Borsa!!

For today, M&K Custom Hatters of Los Angeles, circa early 1940s is our best guess. Looks like I'm forcing the smirk. Sorry.

Yay! A Charlie sighting! It is cool to have a custom bespoke hat from this period. I'll have to look them up and see if there is anything historical I can provide.

Living vicariously through the straws still popping up in the group. Nice one Perry.

Such a wonderful image Fabio! Pure class...

I do like this sage color combo, I had mine on over the weekend. Didn't get around to posting it though. It is just one sharp looking modern hat.

Albertini - Argo - Marca Registrata 1817

The hat seems to be a find encapsulated over time. It is new and never used and seems to arrive for the workmanship and the finishing touches from the 40s.

The felt (Feltro rasato) is very light and of a "light nut" color. There are no indications of the manufacturer about the color and type of hat. The size plate is in centimeters 59, French size 6 and UK size 7 1/4.

The Albertini hat factory, founded in 1817, was the first hat manufacturer to use the machinery of the then emerging modern industry. He has "exported" his activities to England by setting up a factory after WWII

Thanks for the likes on the blueish Flechet of yesterday

Today it’s a follow up of some Disney discussions from yesterday.
The felt and finish is fantastic on this quite old Camel Hair. I’m no expert on fuzzy felt so i’m not sure if the felt has Camel in it or it refers to the finish.
Either way this is the softest most comfortable hat i own yet in no way floppy.
Extremely obedient felt and a dream to wear.
Be well. Bowen
And a dream to see as well. My word, what a hat, Bowen!
