Going to be a hot one here, so opted for the Panama.

Nostalgic Monday with my very 1st custom fedora. Peter Brothers Indy. First up is my Coffee on a "cool-ish" Texas morning surveying the yard and deciding what chores lay ahead today. 1 tree and 6 shrubs to plant.

Nice Indy.
What were you wearing between 1971 and that hat?
The IJ movies played a role in my history with hats, but your history sounds 10 years prior to the Lucas films.
Just an Aw Shucks Texas western man?

Thanks, However, I'm a Wisconsin boy born and raised. Wore my granddad's grey fedora as a little kid every time I visited them. Thought it was so cool. Spent 22 yrs in the AF. So always under a hat. Stationed in Denver in '76 got a "cowboy hat". Various hats and caps over the years. Usually more western leaning back then and even today. Retired AF in '92 ended moved to Austin and settled in. IJ had come out in mid 80's. In 1993 I happened to be in Fort Worth and found Peter Bros. All those really cool hats reminded me of granddad's grey fedora as a kid. Ordered my 1st custom. Thus started me down the road of a new hobby. Awww shucks. o_O:rolleyes::cool:

Once you go down that road, there's no turning back, Ken. And there are worse roads one could go down [emoji6]
