After a few tweaks to the brim and the pinch and switching out the original ribbon for this contrasting mid ribbon, I'm trying out this Whiskey 3X Resistol refurb again today...I'll have more later in the Conversion Corral...

A few different angles...

You should also smile in the next lot of photos, Terry. It's a hat conversion to be proud of. I won't mention the colour, but I love it [emoji4]

Was forced back to the cubicle farm for a couple of days. This Texas Hatters “Half-Breed” came with me.

That's a seriously cool hat Bob....since your name is not Boyd, as in the hatband I'm guessing you didn't buy that directly from Manny at Texas Hatters. I need to go visit him, hes about 45 min south of me and his shop is amazing. I'm gonna be dreaming about that hat tonight. lol ;)

Terry @T Jones and John @moehawk have a competition going to see who can go the longest without smiling. We all remember the grin of ‘78 and who can forget the smirk of ‘92! Those wild and zany guys.

I'll be smiling a lot tomorrow afternoon. I'm meeting up with a few buddies from work at a local bar. "I like beer! It makes me a jolly good fellow!"

Thanks Ken! I'm all about the used hats -- this was was from the estate of a Texas attorney. I think I got it for under $20 (had a coupon). The only newly purchased hat I have is a Camp Draft. This is my fourth (fifth?) Texas Hatters.

I just got home and need to grab my already packed luggage and head out to the airport for some work. I wanted to share the spectacular cap that was awaiting my return home this evening.

I am sharing tonight the bespoke makers pics - Cordova. More to come.

Yes a straw cap! What could be better or more timely - I say nothing.

A straw cap that is substantial and has a leather sweat rules! Straw hat wearers I contend that you need to consider a straw cap. Hats are excellent, but a straw cap has its place in the pantheon of head coverings. This particular one kicks butt.

This may be in the top 3-4 caps/hats that I own. WOW is mostly what I can say this evening.

Lots more to come. Enjoy the pics cap folks.
