Great hat, Jack. Looks like a fine and even weave on it. Gorgeous.First trip out in this Herbert Johnson Monticristi. So light it's line linen. Don't quite have the brim the way I like it.

That was quite the show on its own! Fantastic parade again, Eric.Catching up... holy hannah you folks got some style and head gear style! Grand contributions this past week.
Some hat shots from the past week or so.
A vintage Stetson Stratoliner.
A Best Dressed Head cap while starting a yard project.
Got to love the fabric on this cap!
Straw hat dog soiree.
Cutting the lawn and cleaning up in a work straw.
Morning projects completed - cheers!
Afternoon errands completed in an unlined cotton cap.
Temps have dropped into the mid 60's f with a breeze. Unlined vintage Stetson Playboy is the choice for some dock time.
On with the show!
Best, Eric -
Still a firm favourite (but many of your hats are). Such a beautiful hat.
That's a very nice looking Robert Heath Homburg, Stefan. One you definitely don't want to see blow away.Yesterday was a (very) windy day, so I needed a hat that would stay on. Robert Heath Ltd

Love the travel-log pictures. It would be cool to see the pickens at the thrift shops you dig through. Way to rock a black homburg in the real world!Yesterday was a (very) windy day, so I needed a hat that would stay on. Robert Heath Ltd

Welcome to the Fedora Lounge. Very nice Semi-colado to make a grand entrance. I'm sure we will cause you to have many "real" hats very soon.View attachment 171936

Yesterday in Berlin-Kreuzberg......my first “real” hat.....
Yes, it was kind of cool watching them get set up. Went to sleep, woke up feeling much better. I can go back in 4 weeks for a "touch up" if needed. Right now, I have a little pain/problem with my left leg sciatica, but I'll give that a chance to clear up. I know my back problem was wimpy compared to many of us, but I'm such a big baby (for the wife's benefit!) that I thought I was going to die these past few months. If they do it under X-ray you can lay there & watch the cortisone go in on the monitor. Been there...done that.
Really cool pics of the entertainer's hats. You are looking quite sporty and cool these days. Good on ya!Last night I took the Macy's panama down to listen to some music

A rare instant of one of what I consider my better vintage hats to go for a bike ride. The singer/harp player in the first band seems to be something of a hat fan, too.

It's not every day that I run into a hat rack as part of the stage set.

Saw a few more hats onstage and around as well

I didn't notice the salt stain on the ribbon when I picked it up. A dab of white vinegar took care of that.

Have a great Saturday,

Excellent news, Mike, and definitely the right time to celebrate with a classic hat. Glad to hear the treatment is working.Early yesterday morning, I went in for epidural shots in my back. So far, I think it was a success. Still have some pain at the injection sites, but the major pain in my spine seems to be gone. I'll have to give it a few days to see what the final verdict will be. It only took since the middle of February to finally get some reliefOh, I did feel it necessary to wear a vintage Italian Borsalino from the early 1960s. The color is "Mirtillo" which means blueberry.
Update: Saturday morning coffee...under my own power! Very little pain. Time to get out a celebratory special hat!

Looking good, Michael. Could you resist the temptation to rummage through those hats? [emoji4]Last night I took the Macy's panama down to listen to some music

Thanks Steve. I got this jacket when I was out thrifting with my sister this spring. She was like OMG that's ugly and I was like how can I resist. Ha ha.Nice Panama, Michael, but that jacket just steals the show. Looks like you should have been on stage with those jazz musicians tootin' your horn.
