Good afternoon. Finally a comfortable weekend here in the NE. Lock & Co. today.

I was up cleaning the new hat safe until 2 am last night, and wanted to put the shelves back in and arrange my hats in it when I got up, but Nooooooo [*Insert John Belushi impression here*]
My youngest daughter is studying interior architecture, and it seems like I have to take her to buy supplies every other weekend. [emoji34]
And on top of that, they are expensive!

Oooooooh, that's nice, Max! Is that a Gorasgu? It seems to have the same unruly character as Mike's longhair Gorasgu.

Brisk and cool weather had me making it a two cap morning.

I worked on yard chores in a Gannon (natural hued beaver felt w/gills).

I met a couple of friends for lunch and a beer wearing a vintage 50's Stetson Playboy coordinating with a 50's tie and a 50's inspired Pendleton Jacket.

Best to all, Eric -

I wore a Gannon Wanderer (inspired by the Stetson of same name) in a silvermist beaver hue with charcoal trimmings this evening. I headed out to listen to a group play old jazz standards. The horn and sax fellows are real finger zingers and were in the pocket during this gig.

They were supermurgitroid! (While they might have not been that grand I have really wanted to use this word since reading it of late in a book about the history of Jazz music.)

Ok it’s confession time, again.
I was posting in the Leather Jacket thread, yikes, and i had to find the perfect hat to go with it.
So..Today it’s a Borsalino i had to beg the Etsy seller to sell me, cause she said i....
err, increassed her anger factor, by questioning the price relative to the length of being listed. Luckily, my self abasement technique prevailed and she took my money!! Man was she err...p***ed!
Be well. Bowen
Not only a spelndid hat, but a memorable story to go with it!

[emoji22] You would rather get rid of the brim binding than sell it to me? [emoji22]

Ha! No, it's not that! I just want to keep the hat. The brim floppiness was frustrating me and not wanting to hold its shape. But I think I may have taken care of that problem. I spritzed a little stiffener on the brim, (light coating), and it seems to be holding up pretty good. I'm not a big fan of stiffener but this was an instance where I needed it. I'm not saying the hat can't be had, I'm just saying that it would take something substantial to convince me! ;)

Agreed - 2 1/2” on a straight crown looks good. For example, I like this Stetson 100 but still think another quarter inch would make it better.

I think we all have our preferred dimensions. I like this 100 just like it is, especially with that Art ribbon. I'm OK with anything down to a stingy but not as wide as a western. I'm easy...

Big floppy Borsalino on gray velour. I also have its twin in brown. No name on the sweat so I call them my Nomad hats.

That finish is to die for Brent. My longhair velour is floppy and unruly too. Problem child that you love.

I have the feeling you could do a top 25 with ease, Bowen.
