Thanks Stefan. I don't see many coats like this. I think the fabric style had it's last heyday in menswear in the 50s. Sometimes see it in womenswear from the 80s or 90s.

Still loving the Diana.

After I finally got the soup I was supposed to make yesterday going I got out on the bike for a bit.

Now for some of that soup.

Thanks,

Recently ran into a coat like that, made by Brioni. Still don't know why I didn't buy it.
The tweeds and the cap are a great combo for you today.

I did not see any other vtg. Stetson Royal De Luxe St. Regis's on my dog walk this morning. My brown hat was king during the walk by the lake and in the wooded area. In fact I saw no other human this morning.

Best, Eric -
Most excellent homburg, Eric. Don't see the St Regis in brown much. Great hat.

Thanks Stefan. Dang, I might contemplate murder for a Brioni in a fabric like that coat.

Wormser on duty today (it has thrown in the towel and has agreed to cooperate)

Good to hear the Wormser is cooperating. Is the brim binding blue? Looks very sweet in the photo today.

Thanks,
Michael

FWIW the open crown Premier Stratoliners are listed in the recently released (Fall 2019) Stetson catalog on page 13.
That's good to hear. There was a bit on here or on Deckard's Instagram awhile back that the OCs were to be 86ed. Maybe the Strats will survive.

Today, I dug deep into the pile o' boxes because I haven't worn the Dalt-o-liner in some time.

Sorry, Tuk. Sometimes we have to be like a catchers mitt and just take the heat, Enjoy what you can and smile.

In Ft Lauderdale, at the mercy of family. I try to advise them, but they don't listen. Now we're stuck in an air bnb with 3 beds, in 2 rooms... a double, a twin, and a single... for 6 adults.... and the roof leaks right onto the double bed. Lol, my cunado, Hugo, slept on the couch.

Warned my nephew he can't blow through crosswalks as is customary in Ecuador... here the pedestrian has the right of way, jajaja.

We ate at 11 last night and slept, not much. Up at 5, Sandra never slept, searching for someplace else to stay... in Ft Lauderdale during spring break.

Lol, now they've decided, now... after i warned them 3 months ago, that they don't want to stand in line at Disney world for hours at a time during spring break.

I keep telling myself, go with the flow, baby....

Only one hat on this trip, the Florentine Milan Stratoliner.

In retrospect that coat should be hanging in my closet and I did go back for it a few days later only to find it gone of course.
The Wormser brim binding does have a blueish hue to it, but it was still early in the morning too, so the light was still a bit cold.

Very nice, Steve. Imposing crown on that one and you don't see the narrow brim binding too often on a Mayser.
Stefan, Thank you! Yes this is an unusual brim treatment. The brim is actually soft so not like a typical Homburg. Fantastic Wormser from you today. Really like the color contrasts!
