This one is special for several reasons. It’s a hat with a story which makes them so much more.
First, i got it out of the bay from you all because the seller spelled the description
“Fourty”!! Next, it was her Grandpa’s pride and joy! She remembered him wearing it. I told her he must have been quite the man to sport this hat back then and promised to cherish it. We had a nice conversation. So it is a special one for me and her!!

Ok..so i’ve been here once already but i’m sitting here waiting on my Son to come home, tail between his legs, cause i heard he got to “go downtown” last night, so to speak.
So, i’m having me some 40s waiting!!
This one came from Tim, @Canerodmaker, and it is as near perfect as a hat can be!!
It puts the “C” in claylike and cool without even trying. Thanks Tim!!

Great felt and ribbon combo on the Bristol. Looks to be in Bristol condition too. Did you have Lloyds survey it? You may have to redefine starplayer a bit.
