A Knox 15 is nothing to scoff at; a beautiful hat to be sure.

My Knox 15 is a fedora, but a favorite nonetheless.

Absolutely. The unique color that changes in the light combined with that contrasting ribbon define a class all it’s own. Your’s has been an archive pic for a long time for me.

I love your Dobbs, Bowen.

This one reminds me of a whisky felt... but a green hue come out, especially if I wear this with my moss green fleece jacket.

Ay, ay, ay.... no estoy seguro si alguna vez lo voy a vender....

The first bit of Spanish I ever said at the front desk when I worked at the county Housing Authority: La lista de espera no se mueve.
Hahahaha. Cuento con ello. I mean, I would be first on it should it ever become active, right?

Love the shape of this Optimo, and especially the contrast between the crown ribbon and brim binding.

What would you say the color is for the brim binding?

Would love to see a full shot of the crown ribbon treatment...

Thanks, it a nice one for sure. The brim binding seems like a light brown / orange color. Here’s another shot with better lighting:

Thanks Jeff! The band was done by Gayle Greene and the slide by her partner (and long time friend of ours) Jimmy Begay. They did work for the Hatsmith (now closed?) and O'Farrell in Santa Fe.

Bob, JD [Hatsmith] is still in Santa Fe. Mike and I visited him last June while in Santa Fe.
He is back working for Milton of Montecristi Hats.

Here is a shot of where JD is at.
