This Royal Deluxe OR in Caribou finds itself atop my head at most gigs lately.

Other adventures this week included purchasing a new American Hat Co straw hat for summer, and recreasing a teardrop Campdraft Deluxe into a cattleman crease and then BACK to a teardrop after determining it looked better that way...

I needed to cut up a couple of limbs up that fell under the weight of the most recent snow falls. This morning I wore a Gannon fedora (blue beaver felt with charcoal trimmings) for this chore.

I am wearing my NOS Knox One Hundred today. Yes, I know that Alan bought it from someone else, and Lotsahats bought it from Alan, but none of the previous owners really wore it.

This hat is new.
I intend to wear it often. It is my best hat, and I've always thought that if you keep stuff locked away it is practically the same as if you didn't have it at all.

Hey all!
It's been a long stretch of cold windy rainy and just plain miserable weather here in the 707. I was so happy to see the sun and not hear the howling wind (for about an hour or two) that I had to throw on this entry level Borsalino Panama that I found in a thrift store a couple days ago. 4 bucks well spent. I've been doing my best to avoid buying any more new old hats, but when the fish jump in the boat...

Now, back to trench coat and umbrella for a while longer... brr. Winter can be over any time now.

Thanks, Stefan. This is a lightweight, probably more suitable for summer. Very nice and light with a good hand. Takes a crease easily. I recently sold a Wormser to Max that was an even better felt. A bit heavier and dense with a great feel to it. Perhaps he'll weigh in with his opinion.

They stayed away a couple weeks (like kids) then slowly coming back (like kids).
